Dr. Hermann is a very, very good plastic surgeon. He did an amazing job on reattaching a significant part of my ear after it had gotten severed in an accident. At first glance he thought I had a 50-50 chance of keeping it, but he managed to save the whole ear. His bedside manner is wonderful and his nurse and office staff are most personable. BOTOX FAQ
Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my treatment?
BOTOX injections are relatively straightforward and do not require much preparation. However, we recommend avoiding alcohol and blood-thinning medications like aspirin and ibuprofen in the days leading up to treatment to reduce the chance of side effects.
How long does it take for BOTOX to start working?
While every patient is different, botulinum toxin typically takes effect about three to five days after injections. The peak effects usually settle in after two weeks. If you are not satisfied with the results at that time, please contact our office, and we can discuss increasing your units.
Will my injections look natural?
When injected by a qualified provider, BOTOX can look completely natural. Our team has undergone specialized training to understand how BOTOX interacts with your facial anatomy. Using our knowledge and experience, we will determine the optimal location and dosage for your injections to ensure the most natural-looking results.
Does insurance cover BOTOX?
Insurance coverage for BOTOX is limited to health-related treatment. Unfortunately, cosmetic care is not covered by insurance. However, our Denton office does accept financing through CareCredit® to help make your procedure more affordable.
