The Thigh Lift Recovery Process
After surgery, Dr. Hermann will close the incisions and apply all necessary bandages and compression garments. He performs all plastic surgery procedures himself, from start to finish.
In some cases, patients may need to stay overnight so Dr. Hermann can monitor your recovery and prevent complications. Once released, follow your postsurgical instructions carefully and rest as much as possible to ensure a smooth recovery and optimal results.
Approximately seven to 10 days after the procedure, Dr. Hermann will remove the sutures. As swelling and bruising subside, you should begin to enjoy your results. Most patients can return to normal activity around week two and expect a full recovery four to six weeks after surgery.
