Coming in to see Dr. Hermann, I immediately felt at ease the way that he explained the treatment, and I felt safe knowing that I was in his hands. We listened to them, we really talked with them to try to find out what is their goal, and then we formulate a plan to execute that goal. The service he provided, and his office staff made me feel right at home, and that just totally outweighs everything that was closer to me. I go into a lot of detail about the surgeries with patients, talk about all the instructions, all the risks that are associated with them, to make sure that they are a well-informed patient, because that does relate to better outcomes. I feel like the facility was very clean, very modern, chic. I also feel like it has a warm, inviting sense to it. Because I do a talk show about plastic surgery, I really keep in tune with what's new on the horizon, both plastic surgery and medicine. I'm constantly reading research papers, reading news articles about new things out there, because I think it's important to grow as a surgeon and learn about these new technologies. As far as how I ask my staff to treat patients, I want them to treat them in a way that they feel very welcome here, they feel very comfortable. It's important to me that when patients come here, that they just don't get overwhelmed by the whole doctor-patient relationship. This is a very casual atmosphere. I feel like if people are comfortable, then they're going to maintain the information better. I think Dr. Bruce Herman is one of a kind, and he is probably best in class. Education, craftsmanship, and at the end, giving you the best product out there. I really believe in the doctor-patient relationship. When I have patients come to me, I spend a lot of time with them because I really want to dive into what exactly it is that they're trying to accomplish to make sure that we make the right surgery plan for them.
